We Were In Love (우리 사랑했잖아) is Davichi’s and T-ara first collaboration digital single. Although the single was credited to T-ara only So Yeon, Ji Yeon, Hyo Min and Hwa Young participated.
“We Were in Love” represents T-ara and Davichi’s small little gift to the year 2011, the year that gave so much to them both. It stands as both the strongest example of CCM’s ballad style, and a useful blueprint for where the style could grow in the future.
This was their first joint single, however the two groups collaborated in the past with SeeYa for the release of “Yeoseong Shidae / Yeongwonhan Sarang” and “Wonder Woman” singles.

Huh Gak (허각) is a South Korean singer and winner of the Mnet talent competition series Superstar K2. On December 6th, Huh Gak & LE (from the group EXID) released their MV teaser for a new ballad called “Whenever You Play That Song“.
The MV is directed by Hong Won Ki, and Yoo Seung Ho plays a character that falls in love while running away from the law. The song is an emotional track produced by top producer, Shinsadong Tiger.

At the very top of the latest digital chart from Bugs are Superstar K3 contestants with the top two, Busker Busker and Two Month, looking like good candidates to be included on this k-indie focused chart sample. Not quite sure where they’re headed yet though, so for now here’s what else I could find:
A number of indie songs left Gaon‘s digital chart, but 10cm‘s presence remain strong. It’s curious to see how new releases also increase interest in related older songs to the point that they can enter the chart as well.

She’s been releasing a few digital singles together with Epitone Project and the latest one, Sakura Moment, was released on May 19. The single comes with but one track called 꽃처럼 한 철만 사랑해 줄 건가요?

Hip-hop duo Eluphant released a single called 여전히 아름답네요 online on May 4 with the CD release coming up on May 17. For the title track they featured Kwon Jung Yeol of 10cm, something that allkpop saw fit to mention last week: Eluphant collaborates with 10cm for “You’re Still Beautiful”.
On May 4 Taru released a new electronic pop song on a one-track digital single called Better Together. It was used in a joint Nate and Cyworld campaign already last year, but this time the song is made available as a sample from her upcoming mini album 100% Reality.
December is the duo of male singers Yunheok and DK, singing with pop and ballad styles. They Have Return to the music industry with the release of their 4th digital single “Beautiful Woman”.
Known for their heavenly harmony, the two have created a series of hits thus far and have teamed up this time with hit maker Oh Sung Hoon, the man behind some of K-pop’s greatest ballads like “I’ll Be Your Star“, and “Shout to the World.”
“Beautiful Woman” is a medium tempo track that showcases the duo’s powerful vocals with lyrics about the thirst and sorrow of everlasting love.

New Digital Single Release by Miss A “Love Alone”, which was specially produced for Kim Yuna’s “Ice Show”. This trendy pop song was produced by a famous American producer named Fuego, who previously composed Jasun DeRulo’s 2009 Billboard hit, “Watcha Say.
“Love Alone” features a repetitive chorus and an overall powerful feel that foreshadows an impressive performance style coming up from the girls. Representatives of AQ Entertainment stated, “It will be like the union of the performance queens at Kim Yuna’s ice event this month. The performances wil be absolutely perfect.”
