Working from home has a lot of perks–not only do I save a 2 hours I would’ve otherwise spent commuting but I’m also by far more efficient than my office environment allows. As an added benefit it makes it possible to have a coffee break in the middle of the day with a bit of blogging thrown in. I wish I had more days like this. Before I get back to work, here’s the latest Korean digital chart from Gaon. (I’m now writing “Oksang Dalbit” instead of “Dalmoon” after seeing the joint 10cm concert poster some time ago)

Oh wow! It’s been a week already? It’s been a busy week and combined with a computer that only on occasion allows me to start it that means blogging have to suffer, both here and on Korean Indie I’m afraid. I will get myself a new computer. Soon. I was gonna do it last weekend but I’m too much of a procrastinator, I guess. Which is also why today I had to realize I’d missed out on J Rabbit’s album for the second time. But enough about that, here’s the latest Korean digital chart from Gaon!

Those that know their K-pop history may be familiar with Park Jiyoon since her idol days, but a few years ago she turned towards singer-songwriter path. It started with her seventh full-length album and continued on her eighth full-length album, where she’s been assisted by Asher Park and members from No Reply and Dear Cloud. As you can gather from the below the album in question has been quite successful on the latest Korean digital chart from Gaon.

We Were In Love (우리 사랑했잖아) is Davichi’s and T-ara first collaboration digital single. Although the single was credited to T-ara only So Yeon, Ji Yeon, Hyo Min and Hwa Young participated.
“We Were in Love” represents T-ara and Davichi’s small little gift to the year 2011, the year that gave so much to them both. It stands as both the strongest example of CCM’s ballad style, and a useful blueprint for where the style could grow in the future.
This was their first joint single, however the two groups collaborated in the past with SeeYa for the release of “Yeoseong Shidae / Yeongwonhan Sarang” and “Wonder Woman” singles.

At the very top of the latest digital chart from Bugs are Superstar K3 contestants with the top two, Busker Busker and Two Month, looking like good candidates to be included on this k-indie focused chart sample. Not quite sure where they’re headed yet though, so for now here’s what else I could find:
