Davichi and T-ara First first Collaboration Digital Single We Were In Love
We Were In Love (우리 사랑했잖아) is Davichi’s and T-ara first collaboration digital single. Although the single was credited to T-ara only So Yeon, Ji Yeon, Hyo Min and Hwa Young participated.
“We Were in Love” represents T-ara and Davichi’s small little gift to the year 2011, the year that gave so much to them both. It stands as both the strongest example of CCM’s ballad style, and a useful blueprint for where the style could grow in the future.
This was their first joint single, however the two groups collaborated in the past with SeeYa for the release of “Yeoseong Shidae / Yeongwonhan Sarang” and “Wonder Woman” singles.

Ali First Full Length Album SOUL-RI: A Town With Soul
Ali finally released her first full-length album after debuting almost two years ago title “SOUL-RI: A Town With Soul”. The album contains a featuring by B2ST‘s Junhyung for her title track, “Don’t Act Countrified“. The music video has also cast actor Jun Tae Soo, who’s been on a 10-month hiatus since assaulting a taxi driver 10 months back.
In conjunction with this release, ALi has also unveiled the music video for her title track, “Don’t Act Countrified“. The music video starts off with a solo dance scene, before moving onto the main character’s past memories of her lover. The memories prove to be too much, and so she makes a drastic decision.

Huh Gak First Mini Album First Story
Superstar K 2 winner Huh Gak released his first mini-album earlier this year, but it consisted mostly of songs he had performed in competition. Now comes First Story, his first mini-album of all original songs.
Although he’s had experience releasing a debut song called “Whenever“, thanks to the opportunity he received from winning the show, this is his first album released under a formal label.
Huh Gak’s story is told in five ballads including the title song Hello, which comes in two versions, the pop hybrid number “I Miss You”, and a duet with Hyu Woo.

Plot/Sypnosis:
Fearing that her husband might leave her due to her inability to bring a boy to the family, Mrs. Wu declares her tenth daughter her “tenth” son, who is later named Wu Shi Lang. The goal is for Shi Lang to win as many martial arts competitions as possible, as that’s all her father seems to care about. Conflicts arise when she finds herself falling for her childhood friend, Li Ya Shou, who is determined to marry the rich. To stop him from marry the wealthy Lei Xiao Yu, Shi Lang defeats Ya Shou in a martial arts competition. Xiao Yu is greatly impressed and insists on marrying Shi Lang. Things further complicates, when Xiao Yu’s brother, Lei Sheng Da, encounters the dress-wearing Shi Lang and falls head over heel with her. Shi Lang realizes she is in deep trouble so she skips town after telling everyone she is a woman. Sheng Da follows her to the new town. Although, Shi Lang and Ya Shou are becoming more than friends, Sheng Da’s persistence begins to touch her heart, too.

Miss A First Full Length Album A Class
Breakout girl group miss A makes an A Class comeback with their first full-length album! The girls stormed to the top of the charts last year with their debut single Bad Girl Good Girl, and they’re set to make an even greater splash this year.

First album from Linus’ Blanket out this week
After years and years of waiting, fans of super lovely indie pop band Linus’ Blanket can look forward to the release of first full length album, Show Me Love, already on this Friday, August 5! The album offers new versions of Picnic, Labor in Vain, and Walk and also includes a song called Gargle featuring Bryan Cho of The Black Skirts.
With Linus’ Blanket now being a duo a number of wellknown names have been involved in the making. Doe Jaemyoung of Loro’s has been playing the drums throughout. Chang Kiha & The Faces bassist Jeong Jung Yeop played the guitar for more than half the songs and assisted with a bit of bass playing as well. Kingston Rudieska provided the brass sound for the title track as well as three songs more. Sweet Sorrow and former Hollow Jan vocalist Lim Hwan Taek contributed with chorus on Picnic and 고백 respectively. Jowall has produced and arranged Music Takes Us To The Universe. To top it off DJ Soulscape has been the mixing engineer and sound supervisor for the entire album.
I’ve written about the album title track before, but here’s another reminder to get a taste of the band’s new sound from the music video for Show Me Love.

Hyuna First Mini Album Bubble Pop
4Minute’s HyunA is releasing her first mini-album! The sexy rapper’s solo debut single Change was a big hit last year, and she’ll be showing more of her powerful dance moves and rapping in five new songs. HyunA continues to impress fans by managing to exude several different sexy charms that will certainly heat up an already hot summer.
She starts with a softer sound in the album’s advance track A Bitter Day, a heartfelt R&B ballad featuring labelmates G.NA and Jun Hyung of BEAST. The song features an addictive beat and chorus, and like fans expected, it is something that she can show off her killer dance moves with.
Unlike the darker image of her debut solo track, “Change“, “Bubble Pop!” features a sporty flair that gives her an overall upbeat look. The album also features the synth-pop dance tune Bubble Pop!, the club number Downtown featuring bandmate Ji Yoon, and the hip-hop number Just Follow penned by and featuring Dok2.
