FTIsland is all Grown-Up! Leaving their teen years behind, the popular band presents a softer, manly image in their fourth mini-album. Grown-Up features five new tracks with an emphasis on warm ballads with a more mature sensibility, like the lead track “Severely” composed by hitmakers Kim Do Hoon and Lee Sang Ho.
Featuring five songs, ‘Grown-Up’ is comprised of slow-tempo rock ballads, and, as the album title suggests, displays the group’s maturation since their last group release.After the album was released, it reached #1 on off-line album sales (Hanteo Charts). Meanwhile, their title track “Severely“ soared on online music charts and has been receiving great feedback. Davichi albums are always a delight to listen to, and their latest is no exception. The duo’s mini-album Love Delight again highlights their light, beautiful voices in five new tracks.
Although the girls experienced a heartbreaking blow after every track from “Love Delight” got leaked, many fans refused to listen to the tracks until the album came out officially on August 29th. Davichi have been working hard for a year and three months on their 3rd mini-album, and it seems like it was well worth the wait.
The main plug “Don’t Say Goodbye” is a melancholic, mid-tempo pop ballad with a fresh piano and strings melody. The mini-album also features Kang Min Kyung’s self-composed “Secret”.
